I started this blog while preparing for CFA Level 1. During my studies, I realized that understanding a concept for an exam is one thing, but truly grasping it and remembering it after a few days is much harder.
The approach that works for me is to apply those concepts to real companies, industries. Whether it is reading annual reports, listening to concalls, analyzing industry data, or studying investment ideas, I have found that concepts become much clearer when they are connected to the real world.
I am also someone who is learning to make sense of numbers and understand what they are actually telling us about a business. Through this blog, I document my journey of turning numbers into insights and learning how businesses really work.
